Channel 5’s most popular series to date, Cowboy Builders returns for a second series.
For those home improvement lovers who missed the first series, Cowboy Builders is a programme that stands up for aggrieved homeowners who have been the victims of unscrupulous tradesmen.
Melinda Messenger and Dominic Littlewood co-present the series. Melinda has been in property development for over 10-years and brings her design team’s experience and help along with her. It’s their challenge to give the cowboy’s victims a home they can be proud of. Dominic Littlewood tracks down the cowboy builders and takes them to task with proof of their shoddy workmanship.
Sympathetic to the plight of the show’s victims, Sto has donated paints for a number of the projects featured in the series.
Series 2 – Episode 1: The Adams Family – Sheffield
The first show, aired 8pm on Tuesday 13th April, will highlight the plight of the Adams family, a hard-working couple from Sheffield who spent £45K on extending their home.
The builder they employed started the work but never finished the job, leaving the family living in a building site. Only a small part of the house was habitable and they were surrounded by dust, unsafe structures and open sewers. As they paid the builder the full amount up front they have had no funds to correct any of the work or to get it completed, putting the family under unimaginable stress.
Sto supplied our paints free-of-charge to help put right some of the poor workmanship. Our award winning interior paint, StoClimasan Color, was used in both the master bedroom and the kitchen. Our unique paint has the extraordinary ability to safely remove bad smelling odours from rooms, leaving an inviting and fresh smelling interior.
