Oxfam Unwrapped - Online Sales of Sto paints help to fight Aids
As part of our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, Sto signed an agreement with Oxfam* at the beginning of 2008 to contribute towards the OxfamUnwrapped.com campaign to provide condom kits where needed in the developing world to help fight the spread of HIV and Aids.
For every pail of StoLotusan Color and StoClimasan Color purchased online, we donated 5% of the sales value to this very worthwhile cause. Together we managed to supply thousands of condom kits and information packs to those areas most in need.
2-years on, we are still supporting the cause, but in a slightly different way. Now, sales of StoLotusan Color and StoClimasan Color will help towards supplying the developing world with life saving mosquito nets and safe water containers.
Oxfam is a development, relief and campaigning organisation that works with others to overcome poverty and suffering around the world. They run a campaign called OxfamUnwrapped.com where donations are put towards buying modest, yet life changing gifts from donkeys and portable toilets to condoms etc.
